A strong trend on the cover
Many entrepreneurs in the building choose to work alone, and the coverage is not to be outdone. This includes young installed young people, who do not necessarily have the means to recruit from the start, but also long -standing companies that do not wish to recruit, or even that have chosen to reduce their workforce.

Staying alone allows above all to reduce administrative procedures and charges. This also offers greater freedom on travel and schedules and makes it possible not to manage the human factor (supervision, management of teams and schedules, absenteeism).
Do we have the right to work alone on a covering site? In France, the legislation is clear: isolation is not a risk factor for accident, but it accentuates the risk of damage, especially if there is use of personal protective equipment with dropping system. The isolated work under these conditions is prohibited in article R. 4323-61 of the Labor Code: "When such personal protective equipment is used, a worker must never be alone in order to be able to be rescued in a time compatible with the preservation of his health".
If the law therefore authorizes the work in height isolated in other cases, there is still a certain number of limits, in the realization of heavy work, but also in the management of displacements outside construction sites: recovery of materials, trade meetings ... More and more craftsmen organize themselves to help each other and to sit down on sites, in particular on the tasks requiring the wearing of heavy charges, long or requiring to be two: Large roof windows, covering cover, tracing before installation.
