The waterproofing market is growing in new and renovation. Formerly very oriented on large surfaces and the collective, flat roofs are increasingly present on the individual, on the whole or part of the building such as the garage.

Waterproofing sites are therefore no longer reserved for specialists and it can be interesting to launch this complementary activity to take the small sites or the realization of the entire individual house.

The waterproofing work requires technical skills and therefore a diploma certifying: a waterproofing CAP of the building and public works, a BP waterproofing of the building and public works or a BTS building envelope or a CQP (Professional qualification certificate) Etancheur.

If you want to get started on this activity, it is therefore necessary to recruit a qualified profile or to undergo training.

The realization of the welding requires flame welding equipment (blowtorch) or hot air (hot air gun or welder robot) and accessories such as pressure rollers.

It is also necessary to provide pliers, shears and hand tools for the realization of zinc finishes.

The work area must be protected by railings comply with standard NF P93-355: high smooths, safety nets and metallic posts anchored every 1.5m maximum using reversible pliers or suitable supports.
