Essential for roofers' safety, underside installations must be carried out carefully to prevent accidents and protect workers at height. All the information necessary for the smooth running of this training day can be found below:

  • Target audience: roofers, zinc workers, waterproofing specialists, rope access technicians, carpenters, construction workers, technical services, asbestos removal specialists, prevention officers, trainers, netting installers, masons
  • Duration of the internship: 1 day (7 hours)

  • Prerequisite: ability to read and understand instructions in French
  • For the practical part: come to the training with your PPE (harness, safety shoes, gloves, etc.)

Training objectives: Installation of underside netting

To safely install protective netting under roofs and ensure secure installation of protective netting under roofs:

  • Understand and master the theoretical and practical skills necessary for the techniques of setting up fall protection nets for people underneath.
  • Knowing how to define the constraints and limits to be respected.
  • Knowing how to identify the risks of falls of people and objects in roofing and implementing collective prevention solutions.
  • Knowing how to set up collective protections and flexible collection surfaces on the underside of the framework.
  • Know and use the regulatory and normative frameworks of the sector on the prevention of falls from height.
